Chicken Chilli Masala
Hi all,
I joined a while back, before the subscription model was adopted (which I think is very fair to be honest). To cut a long story short, I've been looking at making BIR curries for ages, but have finally got around to getting stuck in.
Here is my first ever dish, which is a slightly adapted Chicken Chilli Masala. It tasted incredible!

Re: Chicken Chilli Masala
I used the rshome123 recipe, I've done a few more since then, all of them have been amazing.
Also, I've really cracked butter chicken (on the left) for the missus. It's not a dish I usually like, but even I would have happily eaten that. My rice needs a lot of work! I've not cracked that at all yet!
Doing more tonight!

All of them curries look great snarkanoid! Judging by how they look I would be very happy if I were to be served those in a restaurant. Keep up the curry cooking and pics.

Re: Chicken Chilli Masala
Those curries look great!
I must admit, I never ever get the opportunity to take a 'presentation' shot like these, because mine - nearly always - get frozen for another day, and straight-away are put into a tinfoil container.
The reason being is, there are usually four to be made in our house , so the earliest will always have to be re-heated in the microwave before serving, so it's normally -> thaw out overnight (rice & curry) -> onto a plate together -> reheat in MW -> serve ASAP
There's no room for ceremony in this house....down the hatch it goes

Looks great, Snarkanoid. Can you please supply a (internal) link to the recipes you used? What adaptations did you make, please?

Re: Chicken Chilli Masala
Hi Cory,
Apologies for missing your reply. I'm afraid I can't remember which recipe now, but I'll make a mental note to supply in the future.
I've been doing more curries. They are getting insanely tasty!
Here's a few more.
Tikka Prep (that was using your own recipe - viewtopic.php?f=50&t=364), and it was incredibly good!
Next was Chilli Chicken tikka masala (Favourite) - That was originally taken from a rshome123 Youtube Vid.
Then finished Tikka, ready to freeze
And finally Chicken Tikka Korma, (RSHome recipe from this site viewtopic.php?f=256&t=4097) Wife loved it.
Sorry for the formatting of this post, links etc. I'm not great with this sort of thing i'm afraid.
More planned for the weekend.

Re: Chicken Chilli Masala
Trust me, I'm an amateur, you certainly can make this - quite easily! It's all in the prep (as with so many things in life). I actually enjoy the prep though.
