Was having a read on the train home and got to the end, thought wow that looks like my Dhansak... and my plates... and my kitchen worktop... hang on a minute! Made my day (credit to Rshome123 for the dhansak recipe and Westy of course for the famous dhal)

Chris,
I hope you printed off the PDF and left it on the seat to spread the word about the forum to other commuters
Apologies though, I really should have credited you specifically for the photography (as others). While there is a generic credit on the last page, that will be fixed in the next edition, I promise.
Glad it made your day!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Re: Issue 1 - November 2016
Nicely laid out. One of the links is to a humungous thread where not everyone has good things to say about each other, but I guess that's a true reflection of the site - plenty of lively debate rather than just a load of recipes.
Good work. I look forward to the next one.
Cheers,
MacFerret

Looks great! GB - you're a very talented man!
Re: Issue 1 - November 2016
Very nice work indeed GB. You deserve non-mod individual contributor of the year I think for this alone I think.
Great crops of the pics BTW. Good eye! I'm a fan of the magazine style crops.

Re: Issue 1 - November 2016
Nice work! Those picture are great, and make me want to go and cook a curry. The trouble is I cooked and ate the last one only a couple of hours ago
