August 2015- Garlic, Chilli Chicken Sagwalla, by Uncle Frank
Re: Month 2 - Garlic, Chilli Chicken Sagwalla, by Uncle Fran
Gave it go tonight.
Not my best work, was a bit rushed and was using an experimental base that I watered down far too much by accident
But it was nice, I'm glad I tried it.
Only deviation was tomato puree instead of blended tinned, the can I swore was there was not, I probably should have checked more than 30 seconds before I needed it.

Finally got round to it
Excellent full of cheeky bir flavours

Curried away (one part cumin ) powder.

Here's my attempt using Fusion base and Adey's mixed powder. Whilst making it I was convinced it wasn't going to be that good. Anyway, had two attempts and on the second go really let it caramelise/weld itself to my Ali pan. Result was spot on, restaurant quality dish.
My only deviation was a small sprinkle of sugar at the end, as I wasn't happy with the balance of sweetness. I can recommend this one to the forum . All the family loved it, clean plates and balti dishes all round.
