Perth 2018 curry meet up
Just putting this out again as it’s been over a year since the last one.
So, anyone in Perth fancy a meet up for a few beers, curry then possibly a few more beers?
Open for dates/locations. City centre would be handy, but anywhere in Perth would be good as long as it is not too far from a train station. There are loads of Indian restaurants in Perth, and personally I think the standard of food has vastly improved over the years. I am happy to travel for a a great curry.
Last year, CA, Willyeckerslike and myself attended, as we did the year before........and the one before that, so it would be great to see new faces this year, so come on Perthlings......who is up for a curry?

Naturally, I'm more than up for it, again. Yes, it would also be great to see some new faces, this year.....

I'm up for it if I'm at home. Always a good night out. It would be good to see some new faces! Don't be shy people.

Or a table for 4, if Alice is joining us, but I wouldn't bank on it!

Alice, Who the f is Alice?
How about a visit to the Madras House opposite The cove? I seem to remember that being quite good. Just need to work on a date

I think that's possibly Alice Springs, I made a suggestion last year for a possible venue for you.

"Alice" was our waitress, from last year (who was, admittedly, named after pauly's suggested venue), who (rather sensibly) wasn't too keen to be photoed!

I remember Alice, nice girl
I am home until the 11th of August and then off on my travels until erm.... until I get back! Usually it's about 4 and a half weeks... When I find out I will let you guys know.
I remember enjoying the Madras house.
Sounds good.

Re: Perth 2018 curry meet up
We’re off to UK on 14th September for 4 weeks.
I’m happy to arrange something before you go Mr. Eckerslike, any night is good for me. CA???
Of course if anyone else still wants to attend, we would love to meet you. Come on Perth curryholics, don’t be shy.

Re: Perth 2018 curry meet up
From past experience, you and Willy (and Alice and anyone else) sort out what's most convenient for you and I'll try and slot in with the most popular vote.....(I seem to be the most amenable/flexible/available/accommodating amongst us! ). And "The Madras" is fine by me....it will give us another opportunity to further explore his experiences in British curry houses and his curry cooking classes....

Re: Perth 2018 curry meet up
All is fine with me....hopefully some other Perth members can also make it?
If we can finalise the details (e.g. venue, date and time) I can make a board announcement to see if we can encourage other Perth based members to join us....

Re: Perth 2018 curry meet up
Well, there are quite a few of us here in Perth so hopefully some others can attend. I can make any time on Thursday, I suppose we could provisionally book a table, I’m sure we wouldn’t have too much of a problem getting a table on a Thursday if a few others did turn up???

Re: Perth 2018 curry meet up
I'm happy with The Madras, I'm happy with Thursday 9th, I'm happy with any time and I'm happy to meet up there or elsewhere.
Thursday is probably one of their busier nights, but we could always book for (say) 5 and see what happens? If necessary, we can always contact them, on the day, and revise the number according to the response?
Sound like a plan?

Yeah sounds good CA. Are we having an aperitif beforehand, or straight into the restaurant?

You're the boss, BI (plus Willy, of course), so I'm more than happy to fit in with whatever you decide......give us the plan!

Any time after 6pm is good for me. Just let me know where we meet for the aperitifs!

Ahhh, you've got to love it when a plan starts to come together.....
Give us a time (after 6pm), and a place, and we'll be there, BI.....(anyone is more than welcome to meet at our house, beforehand, and travel from there...courtesy of my better half!).
