Dublin restaurant curries
My son, who lives in Dublin, sent me pics of these two "curries"
This was meant to be a Vindaloo.
And this was a Butter Chicken. He said they were both foul & not as good as yours Dad.Well, that's a relief then.

They are truly awful
A curry can never be ‘too garlicky’ or ‘too hot’ .....

I like the description Chickenbhoona,
Seriously gents, for a professional chef to serve that up is reprehensible, whether they don't care or know any better I'm not sure. It was a TA from a restaurant Mark.
When my son comes home I usually make him BI's Vindaloo with an extra teaspoon of ground red chillis that we buy whole from a Chinese shop Vindaloo this sort of thing.
Sad state of affairs with what they charge, this would be around €30. I know you can't judge the flavour from a pic but when it looks this awful, I know I wouldn't fancy trying it.

Re: Dublin restaurant curries
That is probably the most rancid looking butter chicken I have seen online (not ever having ordered one from a TA in real life). Are you sure it is not burnt spam in tomato soup with some milk added? The Vindaloo could just about pass as a home style student curry having a bad day, but both the sauces look very watery to me. The Vindaloo also looks like it was padded out with too much veg. I dread to think what the white bits on the chicken are - fat, gristle or bone? For the money, a complete rip off.

OK, the curries might not be too good, but it sure is the place for good Guinness.
