Veggie Curries Big Cook
I have spent this week doing the prep (base gravy, recooked veg and g&g paste) and today cooking (in the garage on the big burner) cooking double portions of the following curries - Rshome's Jalfrezi, CA Mushroom Bhaji (with added lentils), Rshome's Dhansak, Rsahas South Indian Chickpeas and Chewys Madras.
These are to keep my daughter fed for a while when she returns to Uni after the break.
A lot of work, but split up over a number of days, so didn't feel too onerous. Pretty happy with all of them. I did wonder if they were slightly overspiced after making them, having doubled up on the spices to make 2x portions. I will see what my daughters verdict it, as my taste buds are currently all over the place!

Wow alchy, that looks good. I must show this to my teenage daughter, she thinks anything other than Korma is vile (including chicken tikka) ![Sad ](./images/smilies/sad.gif)

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

That's a labour of love for sure. Are the curries frozen for transport? Your daughter must be so grateful, I know I would be!

Your daughter must be very grateful, Alchy.
What's your general experience with scaling up the spices when making double portions ?

Cheers guys. Yes, the plan is to freeze and transport down in a cool bag and then straight into her freezer. I think she is grateful...you can never tell :-)

I hope she has more freezer space than my sons used to have with a shared freezer at college.
She's lucky to have you.
