Nice one - that looks right in the middle of the madras comfort zone!

I have been using Adey Paynes base this week to make my madras but roughly using Julian voihts recipe as a guide and also failed attempts at a Rogan Josh for the mrs again using Julians recipe for that too (as the mrs bought me his ebook when she saw my interest start to grow) oh yeah the Bhajis too. Yesterday I started looking at rshome123 stuff on youtube and today I have had a go at his tikka and also precooked chicken.... I need to tinker with both these recipes a little but I have to say they are a pretty good starting point (your tikka recipe is next to try out)!!! I also liked the idea of his to cook your rice in the left over liquor from the pre cooked chicken, a blinder of a tip that!!! best tasting rice I have ever made( it does make me wonder if this technique is used in take aways and restaurants too?).

This week starting today I'm cooking with Julians curry to go gravy to compare it last weeks results, so tonight its Chicken Tikka Madras, Bombay potatoes, and Pilau Rice, should be a good week as have ordered some more supplies, its amazing how fast you can go through those spices, especially when you knock your tumeric pot over in the kitchen !!!

Got the picture resizing thing sorted now so defo be posting some pics this week............................
