My latest effort...
Here's a meal i served up the other day to friends and family.
I must admit that i'm still playing safe with my menu choices, and favour CA's Korma and Madras recipe's, as Korma always goes down well with the people that don't like the heat as i do, and Korma as it's always been my fave of years gone by.....but since discovering and growing the 'super-hot' chillies here in Australia, i am now craving hotter curries personally (but i just stick with Madras and add my own home-grown superhot chilli powder!)
So this is my most recent meal
CA's Korma
CA's Madras
(both Beef, as the local butcher was doing a special that day!)
Mix powder was CA's Mix Powder 2
H4PPY Chris's Naan bread (the old recipe.....i have just discovered the new "no yeast" recipe and will be trying that from now on as it sounds AMAZING!)
H4PPY Chris's Onion Bhajee recipe
And rice....

Re: My latest effort...
Fantastic looking food there, nee. Well done.
Re: My latest effort...
Many thanks RS....
My Dad back in the UK likes cooking curries too, and i recently posted this pic on my Facebook and he replied with @it looks great, but i would never be bothered to cook 2 different dishes@.....so i had to inform him that the dishes are made from the same base....with the Korma adding cream / coconut powder / almond meal.....and the Madras adding tomato paste and more heat (ok, and a few other bits!) A lot of my Facebook friends have been keen to find out more, so i've sent them here!

Re: My latest effort...
Rice was just normal long grain, added cumin seeds / cardamon pod / bit of fake saffron powder.....boil and switch the gas off....lid on and stew for 15 minutes....

Re: My latest effort...
nee,
Looks great! Have you tried Julian's 'Perfect Pilau' recipe, using the pressure cooker? I've had very good results with it, and (new to me) you don't need to bother washing the rice. Hassle-free!
