Looks amazing UF! When I used to live around your neck of the woods, my favourite BIR was The Rickshaw in Dudley Bus Station. Not sure if its still there but their Duck Jalfrezi was amazing!!

Rickshaw has closed down had a lot of complaints towards the closing of the place. Only ever ate in there once when it first opened.

Thanks for posting these photos of curries from BIRs UF. It's always interesting to see what it is that we're aiming to achieve (and, sometimes, they can look rather dire). I must say though, although the dishes look good, this place looks considerably more up-market ("fine dining"?) and absolutely nothing like the common-all-garden BIRs that I am more familiar with (plates included!)...

To be honest CA nearly all the restaurants i use serve dishes like this but some are more desirable than others, my all time favourite place called Balti King in Owen St Tipton has gone down in my view not really up to the fine tasting dishes i have had in the past,
Eastern Spice again in Owen St is still a firm favourite of mine, very tasting dishes indeed.
The Spice Lounge has recently either been taken over by somebody else or they have a new chef last time i went in again couldn't fault the meal service etc but not the best i have had not saying i wouldn't eat there again i certainly would.
Then Alok which is a fine dining experience very lovely food both in taste, look and always made to feel very welcome when arriving.
Sanam which is a really old school type of restaurant not the best in my mind but always packed full at weekends.
Shivay Indian Sweets is a new shop opened which does curries as well as the sweets not tried this one yet, used to be the best Indian food restaurant anywhere called the Red Rose.
Then there's various takeaways dotted around, about 8 which i haven't tried all of them just a few but nothing to report on as they say.

Grew up around the corner from there, was gutted when the green dragon pub closed (the buildings original use) but we used the place regular for around 4 years before we moved. Whoever the chef was there, he was top notch. The Pathia was to die for.
