Just need to add that I added the pinch of sugar as per Pauly's biryani and his chef spoon of blended tinned tomatoes instead of the paste. Now if I can managed to cook this successfully - ANYONE can! :lol:

not meaning to sound thick - but I have never heard of chaat masala - and I probably have just about most spices on the planet - assuming this is a powder. What is it similar to - taste wise and is it readily available? I want to try this so will need to go spice stalking!
