Friday From The Freezer
I'm always getting moaned at about how much I have stored in the freezer apart from Base Gravy, luckily I have a chest freezer in the shed outside so I don't see it as a problem so to keep the peace I decided to have a look and see what was available in the freezer and the fridge.
I used the Chicken Tikka, Pre-Cooked Lamb, Portion of Pilau Rice, some frozen cubes of Tikka Masala & Tandoori Marinade, some Keema Meat left over from cooking Keema Naans and some Base Gravy to gain some freezer space, the rest of the ingredients were already to hand from the fridge, cupboard etc.
Here's what I came up with for the Friday night supper
Keema Patties for starters with Mint Raita Chicken Tikka Masala Lamb Biriyani All worked out pretty well and appetites were satisfied and peace restored will have to follow orders more often and start to use what I have stored before they go out of date using the older dates first.

Re: Friday From The Freezer
Keema patties were lovely with a bit of yogurt, nice depth of flavor, the CTM and the Biriyani went down well so had a thumbs up from the Mrs so all good and now more freezer space that I need to fill

Re: Friday From The Freezer
Hi charliebir,
I used my Lamb Kofta Keebab recipe (below) and just added Tandoori Masala & Red Food Colour to make Keema Naans (below) and as I had plenty of mixture left over I froze the excess, when defrosted I just divided the mixture into 4, squashed flat and fried, I try not to waste anything.
Lamb Kofta Kebab = Keema Naan
Cheers Bandit

Thanks, Bandit!
Much appreciated.
Likewise I try to minimise waste. Freezer is well used.
