New Years Day meal

Post by pauly »

We thought we'd have a Biriani today, haven't made one in a while, along with samosa & onion bhaji for starters & Gulab Jamon for dessert.

Samosa

Onion Bhaji

Chicken Biriani

Gulab Jamon

There was a little of the Chicken with Cream left as well, all washed down with a lovely bottle of Cava. I'm not really a glutton, there was a fair bit left on the plate for lunch tomorrow.

looking good, there, Pauly! It's a while since I had a fried samosa as my wife uses here AirFryer, but I'm sure the oil gives it a lovely rich mouth-feel and flavour. I've always been keen on onion bhaji and birianis as well. Keep up the good work!

Nice spread, pauly. Although that poor little piece of lettuce, in your first photo, bottom left, looks a little forlorn (and deservedly so!) :

Thanks for the links 8-)
