Re: Tonight’s Dinner
Is this your normal recipe, Rusty? Or something different? They all look much the same, to me (but, maybe, that's the plates!).

Will you be posting a revised recipe, Rusty? Or should members use your existing recipe?

Re: Tonight’s Dinner
Cooked for 11 yesterday, one guest was allergic to Onions so made two dishes without onions or using a base
On the Menu
To Start
Popadoms with my home made lime Pickle
My Bengali Style crunchy potatoes
Mains
4 portions of my butter chicken but no onion or base gravy.
1 big roasting tray of my mixed vegatable curry no onion or base gravy.
4 portions of CA’s Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi.
4 portions of Westy’s Madras using CA’s chicken Tikka.
4 large potions of rice
I prepped the Chicken Tikka the night before, in the morning pre cooked the Tikka, vegetables and Bengali potatoes. Made up all the curry sauces in batches adding them to trays and allowed to cool then added pre cooked ingredients then refrigerated.
Heated up curries in oven until piping hot and they did not dry out at all then selve serve with pre cooked rice I microwaved.
The butter chicken I made fresh 1 hour before guests arrived and simmered on stove.
And here are the pics
Cheers Rusty

Re: Tonight’s Dinner
Hi Rusty,
Well done mate, nice looking spread and very accommodating with the onion allergy how did you heat it all up on the night.
Need to get back into it, getting withdrawal symptoms, got too much going on at the moment unfortunately
Cheers Bandit

Cheers Rusty,
The main thing is as long as everyone enjoyed it, It’s a long time since I cooked for a large number, content to stick with cooking for low numbers at the moment, when I get a chance
