rsaha's South Indian Style Chana Masala
I thought I'd start a thread to drop pics as I take them if that's OK.

Looking good, rsaha. Love the depth of focus.

Very good lighting.
"Perfect" would have some steam coming off it (just drop a ladle of boiling water onto it prior to taking the shot).
I do like the way you have oriented the bowl to show the imperfections (light patches) and pulled the focus but left the other items tantalizingly in reach but in the background.

Another great photo rs - a world apart from mine
A curry can never be ‘too garlicky’ or ‘too hot’ .....

Yes, very nice photo, rsaha, but how did it taste? Which recipe did you use, please?

GB and Westy - thanks:-)
ScotchBonnet - I shoot now for a blog and steam isn't something that gets you points I'm afraid - although I totally see where you are coming from.
CA - it was tasty - done South Indian style and heavy on the chopped onions and with curry leaves but not BIR (although it does use your spice mix #2 - as always thank you for that). It's not one that's posted here. It's one of mine done for my blog. I was thinking that, as this part of the forum is open to browsers that it would be a good place to put enticing photos to get people interested. I will follow this up with BIR dishes - this one just happened to get published today. Is that OK?
