Post by unclefrank »

A lovely recipe from Curry Barking Mad (CBM) these burgers are excellent, Kashmiri is same ingredients as the Tikka burger ones but Kashmiri paste added instead.

@Tiptonnick no chance i have seen him eat in a restaurant, pigs and trough come to mind lol.
@Steve all i did was use half a portion of Chicken Tikka Masala sauce cooked with out adding meat then add half ladle base to the half portion of Tikka Masala sauce add one tin chickpeas and just let it cook for around 10 - 15 minutes then garnish with fresh tomatoes and coriander leaves, i will say that the tomatoes add an exceptional flavour to the dish, cucumber and finely chopped raw onion can also be added, service onions can be added also but only about 1 tbsp.
@Rshome they are well worth trying very easy to make if you have a burger maker thing http://www.sausage-kings.co.uk/large-qu ... -306-p.asp

nice to see you do a chana massala in a nice red massala sauce. Not many restaurant do it like that around here, but that's my favourite style of chana masala

That reminds me, I made 1kg of Mick's Chicken Tikka Burgers this week... really good. The burger press from eBay came in very handy (thanks for the tip UF). Forgot to take a photo... when I cook some from the freezer next time I'll post one.

You can alter the paste added to these burgers for a wide range of burgers, i have used chilli and coriander, kashmiri chilli and honey, Madras paste, Balti paste, Vindaloo paste, Hariyali Tikka paste, all of them homemade.
