So tempting. 2kg Onion makes a LOT of bhajis. Are you having a Christmas party, Pauly?

Re: Onion Bhaji's
Both of our sons are coming home for Christmas, they are rather partial to an onion bhaji or two, mind you, I love them as well. My wife made a pile of samosa's too !
I haven't been completely idle, there is a nice lot of Tikka in the freezer.

The best day of the week to prepare onions for a base gravy is a Fryday

Re: Onion Bhaji's
No Spellbound, the recipe isn't on the forum, to be honest, I don't know what it is.
I'll get her to write it down, I think it originated from night school lessons we had from an Indian lady on Indian cooking many years ago.
Our deep fat fryer only holds around 1 1/2 ltrs of oil, so hopefully after that lot, I'm going to have some nicely spiced oil to start my next base gravy with.

Great looking Bhajis, I could quite easily demolish 4 or 5 of those right now!
