Korma Achari

Post by curry-nights »

Now here’s a little different one whilst cooking korma – I knocked off an extra portion of sauce, cubed and boiled some potatoes – then fried the Potato with a pinch of hing, salt, garlic puree and some sliced onion, stirred in a spoonful of mothers mango pickle.

What a great little creamy vegetable curry with a very little kick!

I thought an Achari was a dish that was cooked in "Pickling Spices" not just something out of a jar or am i missing something.
