Phal

Post by mj2k »

Made my father a Phal this afternoon for when I see him at the end of the week. A tad on the hot side for me beyond a small taste of the sauce, but really enjoyed the process of cooking it. Will be doing a saag aloo tomorrow....forgot I didnt have any potatoes at home and had already been out shopping in the morning!

Cheeky photo of the phal. No idea if the chilles are bird's eye or cayenne, helpfully Waitrose put both in the same pack and aside from taste they are a little tricky to tell apart.

Could you post your recipe in the 'very hot' section please :D
A curry can never be ‘too garlicky’ or ‘too hot’ .....
