Kashmiri Chicken Balti

Post by unclefrank »

Using Happy Chris kashmiri paste recipe viewtopic.php?f=42&t=561
and following the recipe i got from a chef.
I used service onions instead of the usual chunks of onion and peppers, finely diced fresh tomatoes and adding 1 tbsp of Happy's Kashmiri paste.

Do you think it's worth the time and effort to make the Kashmiri paste or would a jar be just as good?

I have used both and both of them are good.

I've been keeping an eye on this thread hoping for the recipe.
I have been really tempted by making the Kashmiri paste, but can't find Indian bay at the moment, I'm working on it though.
