A couple of photos of a gaggle of butter naans made using these Puri recipe ingredients plus wild onion seeds (kalongi/nigella seeds) and this Naan recipe method but with dangling the finished item over a hot gas flame for a few seconds and brushing with butter:

Not too shabby, for such a simple mix of self-raising flour, sugar, salt, natural yoghurt, water and kalonji seeds.
