Hi all
Due to work and circumstances I haven't had the time to cook so last night I cooked up CA Vindaloo, CA simple CTM. Garlic chilli chicken, CA naan breads, Rice, papadums etc. I really enjoyed cooking it all and they were all very very good. The one thing that I did do different was because I forgot to get tomato paste I blitzed up a tin of chopped tomatoes. This I will do again without a doubt, I thought it gave a fresher, smoother taste. Anyway here are a few pictures of last nights effort. (all but the CTM were cooked on the highest heat I can get from my hob just for CA )

Everyone enjoyed the food & I drank too much as usual...

Hi Will, good looking spread you have there
That's one, big, naan! Must be competing with the Balti Houses! Did you cook it in your pizza oven?
Can I ask which tandoori masala are you using nowadays? I notice that neither your tikka, nor your chicken tikka masala, has any orange or red colouration? Is it because you prefer not to use food colourings?

Re: First Curry night in a while
Hi all,
thanks for the comments, really appreciated.
Hi unclefrank I used my own recipe put together with bits of info from this and the other site (I will post it soon)
Hi CA, I did cook the naan in the pizza oven but it was a little too thin, next time I will do it a bit thicker. I also used the Pat Chapman Tandoori Masala and yes I did use the food colourings, I just probably never put enough in as I never measured the amount unlike the other ingredients.
cheers
Will
