Chicken Balti

Made this again with a new base and spice mix, really still in the experimental stages.
I will post recipes soon but just need to make sure i have used everything the Chef has told me.

Cheers Tabs i have said in a previous post that it can be quite difficult to get recipes from Chefs, for instance i went to the Alok http://alokonline.co.uk/ ordered a Chicken Katmandu now i loved the dish but with a few recipes i have got they all seem like a version of a Dhansak so asked the waiter if i could have the recipe, he then gave me a piece of paper with the ingredients on but no measurements list--- Kashmiri paste (Pataks)
Poppy Seeds
Yoghurt
Coconut Cream
Mix Powder
Tomato Puree
Base Gravy
It's this little bit of interest that can get you a long way when trying to get some info, so went into the kitchen to see the main Chef who then asked why i want to know how to cook it, i then explained what recipes i have for the same dish and he looked quite surprised, he then seemed to let some other stuff loose and that is where i have got this recipe, base and spice mix from. I did notice a lot of Pataks catering size tubs in the kitchen.

I will do, just need to make sure i have the recipe right first before i post.
Making this dish next Wednesday for darts night so will have around 10 people sampling it to give me their opinion on it.
