Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi.

Post by stukaville »

Chicken Jalfrezi

Chicken Jalfrezi from cbm's first book, but instead of chilli powder Degghi Mirch was used. Spiced oil from Mick's second book was also used aswell as the Advanced gravy and tomato paste from the second book. The only other change was the use of red Cayenne's instead of the green chillis in the recipe.

Tasty looking. But how was it? Anything you might do more or less of in the future?

It was really tasty mate, A nice amount of spice without being stupid. Brought a modest amount of sweat out. I don't think I'd change a thing if I'm honest but I do have some Onion paste made into tablespoon sized frozen blocks in the freezer and I'll add one of those next time and see if it improves it further. Forgot to mention earlier that I used the special spice mix from the second book for this one, not spice mix 1 or 2 from the first book.
