It's at a "eat in" shop, not quite a restaurant though :)

Generous naan there. Jalfrezi not so generous, but I bet it was enough. How much do you pay in Ireland for that?

The jalfrezi portion is small, but it's packed with flavour. Proper stuff, albeit, quite a bit oily :)

9.90 eur curry + rice
2.50 eur peshwari naan

At my local, for a jalfrezi + peshwari + pilau + (2) onion bhajis costs 19.20 EUR, very dear...

Forgive me, but I can see nothing in the "Jalfrezi" for it to qualify as one (e.g. green chillies, capsicum, onions)...maybe it's just the photo?

I can see, from the photo of the naan, where they "dimpled" it, prior to cooking it, to prevent it from bubbling too much (as "teased" by h4ppychris at one time).

Is that how they served it goncalo???

There were peppers and onions underneath the sauce. In fact, if I didn't have to resize the image to post it here, a piece of red pepper could be seen quite easily at the bottom of the dish

In any case, I wouldn't consider this to be an average BIR jalfrezi. It is, however, one of the most delicious ones I've had outside britain. Yes, they do dimple the naans in this particular place (never seen it done anywhere before) and these are by far the best naans I've had - light, fluffy, tasty, really really well done.
