Bangalore Lobster Phal

Post by Cory Ander »

Lobsters (crayfish) are relatively cheap (around 10 quid a pop), currently, due to a deflated Chinese market (no complaints, about that, from me!).

So, time to make one of my all-time-favourites, a Bangalore Lobster Phal - using a freshly boiled whole lobster/crayfish:

I made the phal sauce using spice mix, quite a bit of garam masala (around 1:2 ratio) and plenty of chilli powder (including a little frozen Carolina Reaper) and plenty of garlic and oil.

Nice pic CA, looks very tasty .

That's a name I haven't seen in years, Bangalore Phal, it used to feature on a lot of menus.
