Re: West Midlands Curry Meet Up
Thanks to everyone who came to the first West Mids Curry MeetUp, it was a fab night! In attendance was Mr & Mrs Slicker, TiptonNick, TikkaTom & 2 outsiders; Naga Ollie & Little Dave. We had a cheeky beer in the Windsor Castle, which incidentally has a fantastic selection of Ales on tap, definitely worth a return visit! Then onto The Spice of Lyefe. The food was good although the Balti Chicken Madras was hoooot! Nick and myself were struggling with it, but Slicker was man enough to finish it off! The bill was only £13 each for starters mains and sundries. All in all a lovely evening with lovely people, really good to put faces to names, I hope we do it again in the future!

Re: West Midlands Curry Meet Up
What a great evening. Cheers Tom for organizing and I hope we can all do it again sooner rather than later. Nice to meet Slicker and his wife (thanks so much for the lift home) and Ollie and Dave as well. Ale was good and the food superb. That was one HOT madras. Slicker didn't flinch! It was great to put faces to names which adds a new dimension to the forum and the overall experience.
A great night.

Re: West Midlands Curry Meet Up
Tom, as discussed briefly it'd be good to do the Balti Triangle next.
We're spoiled in our neck of the woods curry wise. Lye and Sparkbrook are Balti heavens.

Nick, Balti Triangle sounds great, I'd love to head up there. Next time lets not exchange bags of herbs in the pub, we were getting some funny looks!
