That's very surprising Ghoulie, I've always had very good food at the Hilal, albeit always the same dish (Chicken Madras & Pilau Rice). Have not tried the other restaurants you've mentioned, and must look them up. Odd how personal taste differs so much. What dishes did you try from the Hilal, may I ask ?

hi rshome123 - my usual standard choice for comparison is sheekh kebab starter & madras chicken / pillau rice.

Ano brilliant Indian (Nepalese actually) is the Jai Kathmandu on Palatine Road, Northenden. One of my favourites

I come to Altrincham every month so will try those listed as generally disappointed in the Indians in Bowden and Altrincham :thumbup:
