Re: Newsletter comments & suggestions
For some silly reason the email notification went to the spam mail box. We are not talking about spam we're talking curry lol. Thought I was being ignored but great to catch up.

Apologies for that, the thought of a spam curry doesn't exactly inspire me, but no doubt someone here will have concocted one
You should be able to allow emails from this site to pass through to your inbox if your spam filter is a tad over enthusiastic. CA, any idea why this might be the case?
Thanks.

Yes, I've made spam curry, it's actually quite tasty!
Regarding email notifications going to spam folders, I presume this is due to a member's email server setting for recognising "spam" (which will vary from email client to email client and from member to member) which only members can influence (e.g. by placing emails from the forum in their "safe senders' list).

GB, Spam is a revered and special occasion delicacy in some countries, especially South Korea. I can see their point as I rate Spam up there with high-class salamis or hams in terms of flavour. I wonder if my infamous Gammon Vindaloo could be adapted for Spam?

SB - can't say I share your enthusiasm but I was once in Hawaii and one of the holdovers from WWII is their love of spam. It's everywhere... If they can find a way they do.
Gammon I've never heard of. Did some googling. Am I correct that this is a cured but uncooked ham (complete with nitrates to turn it pink)?

Re the spring edition that someone other than CA and myself maybe proofread it - we both missed the clunker of a typo in my column
