Made this at the weekend, absolutely superb, I stuck to the recipe as is, the only thing I added was chopped coriander stalks and a good tsp of onion paste (which needed using up), the black cardamon seeds really give it a Smokey edge, I will definitely be trying this again!!!!, I will post the photos soon as i can, I'm useless at doing stuff like that, my Good lady wife will sort it for me, if I'm a good boy!!!, lol, thanks cartz for a cracking curry mate.

I am going to cook this one again. To be honest after cooking and tasting all day ( bhaji's, pakoras and chicken 65 along with poppadoms, dips, onions, chilli pickle etc, etc) my taste buds were not awake at all and I didn't really enjoy any of the curries on the night.

Our guests made the usual compliments and really enjoyed everything. I didn't even get to have a go at the leftovers as the missus packed our guests off with takeaways.......... :|

Anyway, a great excuse to make this again and give it a proper tasting all to myself.

I made this last night and i thoroughly enjoyed it, what a lovely warm flavour this dish has. Didn't know when to add fresh tomatoes so i added 3 minutes before serving so you still have the flavour of the fresh tomato coming through.
I loved this dish and will be making again. Served with parathas.
Thanks cartz.

Feel a bit behind on my BIR curry adventures of late - life getting in the way. That said this looks like a belter and must make the effort to get it made this month!

No problem, I think this one deserves a bit more exposure and I hope people try it and more users take part in curry club, members can give you honest feedback and receive advice from yourself, it's good to try curries out of your comfort zone sometimes and all goes to improving the forum with better participation

Cheers Bandit
