So, just to check, please can you confirm that you used the following:
  • My Chicken Tikka?
  • My Tandoori Masala (including the food colouring)?
  • My Spice Mix?
  • Fresh minced chillies?
  • My Curry Base?
  • Coconut Milk Powder?
  • Finely dessicated coconut?
  • Single cream?
The colour and texture suggests (to me) that you may not have used all of the above (particularly the tandoori masala - including the food colouring)?

I would expect it to turn out more like Willy's....

Thanks :):

If I'm not at the cricket all weekend I will try and make this on Sunday. I've just made up some fresh tandoori mix and spice mix so I'm nearly good to go anyway

Made this a few weeks ago and it was awesome!!! I'm not normally a fan of CTM, but the extra heat gave it a new dimension. I must admit that I wussed out a little and reduced the amount of chilli so it wasnt quite Phaal hot but next time I will be going for full heat!:

That is a fantastic looking dish there Catflapo .... redder than us after a BFT - congrats !!

How does it compare to a normal Phall in your considered opinion :hmmm:
A curry can never be ‘too garlicky’ or ‘too hot’ .....

Hi Straiiiight

Made it a while ago (its one of the banner photos) but from memory the sweetness works really well with the heat! I used kasmiri mirch and a tbsp of dried birds eye chillie as that was all i had. Hence the red colour.................deelish!

At ease West.........as usual!!!!!

:sleepy:
