Thanks SpiceMan. I hope you try the Karahi. More effort than a BIR takeaway would go to, but cooked right it is great.

No gosht dish yet? Would be interesting to see one, in developing one at the moment myself. How about BIR naga also?

Hi Steve, I've done several 'Gosht' type curries (by Gosht I am referring to BIR adaption of traditional Indian curries which lend themselves to lamb/mutton). From memory.. Achari Lamb (Gosht), Lamb Saagwala.

If you meant something different, please let me know.

A Naga BIR curry is on the list.

Hey rshome123,

lamb usually features in Ghost, but it derives from Pakistani cuisine and means meat in general originally. The BIR styles I have tried feature lots of whole spices and one in Shepperton that serves the best I have tried, inlcudes a pre-made mustard sauce as part of the make up of the dish. I will try and extract more info from them, but this particular restaurant has some of the most distinguished and interesting dishes I have tried and seem a bit reserved about giving too much away! I started developing my own ghost dish which I documented (phase 1 of anyway), but got sidelined into my North Surrey Raan which has become a bit of a hit around these parts!

Steve, interesting words about gosht. Also interested in the mustard thing, because I'm planning a recipe creation using mustard paste. You've got me thinking now. Mmm.
