Re: New Years Day meal
looking good, there, Pauly! It's a while since I had a fried samosa as my wife uses here AirFryer, but I'm sure the oil gives it a lovely rich mouth-feel and flavour. I've always been keen on onion bhaji and birianis as well. Keep up the good work!

Did I say Photoshop Express? That should have been Photoshop Elements!
I also made a Paneer version, using a 200g packet of paneer from Tesco, diced, browned on the sides as suggested by steveparadox and edison3000. It has more protein than chickpeas and beans!
Lovely!

Of course : I just had to experiment with the right photo width in Photoshop Express - 800 pixels wide and <800MB file size seems to work, per Admin's advice in How to Re-size an Image

Re: November 2018 - cartz's Hari Mirchi Bhuna Gosht
Meanwhile, I've made a sweet potato and chickpea version of cartz's Hari Mirchi Bhuna Gosht that's excellent! Yes, excellent recipe cartz and the end result was very tasty. I used an oil free batch of CA's Pressure Cooker Curry Base and a fresh batch of CA's Spice Mix 1 and although I couldn't see ...

...make sure you get a really full fat milk, otherwise your paneer yield will be very low. Sounds like good advice JalfreziT - can you point me to a recipe for paneer that works for you? Meanwhile, I've made a sweet potato and chickpea version of cartz's Hari Mirchi Bhuna Gosht that's excellent! S

Re: November 2018 - cartz's Hari Mirchi Bhuna Gosht
Sounds like a plan! I googled Everest paneer and see that Waitrose list it though I've not seen in it any other supermarket. Is that where you get yours from? I'll be using chickpeas to try edison's recipe as I'm not off to Waitrose any time soon. I may try making Paneer one day as apparently it's v...

This month's Curry Club "Curry of the Month" recipe is ...... PS: If there is another poor response to this initiative, this month, we will shelve it Cory: no, no, no - please don't shelve it, the Curry of the Month is a great idea - I'm just waiting for a veggie one! (Or maybe I should h...
