It freezes well mate because of it's high water content.

I am using K.T.C Brand at the min but don't get hung up on brand.
Blend a tin up and freeze half, keep the other half in a plastic tub in the fridge for a week, or freeze in a ice cube tray.

It pulls the air out of the jar under the tape and because its under vacuum it sucks the tape down to seal.
