Been busy, but back again. Spain is where we live now

Hi guys, been away for a while (I retired and emigrated) and now have time to get back into things.
I forgot I made some of these banners and now looking back I really like them!

The original recipe for this one used a spice mix.

I decided to substitute all of the faff of making the spice mix and just use a good mild curry powder instead.

It worked just fine! Here is it in various stages of cooking and served:

Tonights Chicken Vindaloo with some home grown freshly picked coriander...

Will be gone in a couple of days :D Taking a break tomorrow as we have a huge beef joint to roast, hence full roast dinner. There will however be more than enough beef left to brew up another batch of 4 beef vindaloos so watch this space! :w00t: Off out today to get onions and the rest ready to make...

Westy Hi - yes the Beef was actually 4 quick fry steaks from waitrose, cut with scissors into regular slices (you can see them in the pics) My wife used a beef stock cube and simmered the meat for 10 minutes, drained it and put to one side to cook in the sauce. Obviously it`s a tad more difficult to design a nice banner which also needs to incorporate members curry images...

A few ideas - nothing too serious,
waiting for 5.5 litres of base sauce to cool down enough to blend (turned it off over an hour ago and it`s still piping hot!)

Is there a set size for the overall banner?

It is easy to design a banner using all of the available space. Not so easy if it`s just the centre (as the images either side need to change constantly.
